Alabama Softball Alum Haylie McCleney Named to 2024 USA Softball Women’s National Team World Cup Roster

The sixteen athletes will compete at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Finals July 15-20 in Italy
OKLAHOMA CITY – Alabama softball alum Haylie McCleney has been selected to the 2024 USA Softball Women's National Team roster that will compete this summer at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Finals in Italy.
The 16-player roster will compete at the World Cup Finals in Castions Di Strada, Italy, from July 15-20. The Women's National Team will compete in Group A alongside Canada, China and host country Italy with Group B consisting of Australia, Japan the Netherlands and Puerto Rico.
McCleney, a 2016 graduate of Alabama, has competed with Team USA since 2014 including the Tokyo Olympics silver medal team in 2021.
