Head Coach Ashley Johnston Said
"It's really important for us to have a strong performance Friday night. We have a great opportunity in front of us with Senior Night, Alumni Night - there's a lot to rally around and to be excited about [for our fans and our Tuscaloosa community], but most importantly, it's another opportunity for us to get better. And that's important for this group as we move forward and get ready for the SEC Championships and for postseason.
"Our [seven] seniors, they're an incredible group. I can't say enough about all of them and how they have gone the extra mile for this program. They haven't just checked the box, but they've looked for ways to go above and beyond to help themselves and to help their team get better. I cannot wait to celebrate them but, ultimately, this isn't their last meet. There's still more ahead and so I think it's also important to recognize that it's just another meet, just another opportunity to compete and perform."
