
Women's Golf Closes Second Round of Action at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

Elina Sinz vaults 12 spots up the leaderboard to help lead the Crimson Tide after 36 holes of play
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Alabama women's golf team fell four spots to 15th overall after 36 holes of play at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The Crimson Tide enters the final round of play with a 36-hole total of 589 (289-300).
Alabama will tee off in the final round of play Wednesday morning at 9:20 a.m. CT on the par 71, 6,369-yard Long Cove Club.
ROUND TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- Elina Sinz moved seven spots up the leaderboard, carding a 2-over par 73 for round two
- Kaitlyn Schroeder matched Sinz's score as both players finished the day tied for the 31st position overall
- Sarah Edwards is in a tie for 63rd with a 36-hole total of 7-over 149 (72-77)
- Taylor Kehoe (74-76/150) and Mattie Frick (80-78/158) round out the Crimson Tide's line up in t68th and 86th, respectfully
- Playing as an individual, Harriet Lockley jumped 12 spots up the leaderboard and finished round two tied for 44th
TEAM RESULTS
- Northwestern (-5), Arizona State (-4) and Auburn (-2) hold the top three spots on the leaderboard and are the only three teams in the 17-team field to shoot under par through 36 holes
- Duke (+3) Is in third place with LSU (+4) and South Carolina (+4) tied for fifth
