
Women’s Golf Set to Compete at the Florida State Matchup

The Crimson Tide will play in its third invitational in the last two weeks
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's golf will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to compete at the three-day, 54-hole Florida State Matchup hosted by the Seminoles. The Crimson Tide will begin teeing off in the event Friday morning at 8 a.m. CT, at the par 72, 6,250-yard Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
THE LINEUP
- The Tide's lineup for the event will feature Sarah Edwards, Taylor Kehoe, Elina Sinz, Kaitlyn Schroeder and Harriet Lockley
- Additionally, Mattie Frick will compete in the event as an individual
- Edwards has appeared in the lineup in all eight tournaments throughout the year
- Kehoe ranks second on the team in overall stroke average (72.28) and average vs. par (+0.44) and joins Edwards as one of only two UA golfers to have all rounds played count towards the team total score
- Sinz is coming off her lowest round of the season, shooting 3-under par 69 in the second round of the Valspar Augusta Invitational
- Schroeder and Lockley round out Alabama's starting lineup
- Frick is coming off a top-20 finish at the Valspar Augusta Invitational, finishing 17th overall, carding an even-par 216 (71-71-74).

- The 14-team field includes Baylor, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Daytona State College, Delaware, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio State and SMU
