
Eight Student-Athletes Named to Indoor Track and Field All-SEC Teams

The Crimson Tide had three representatives make the men’s All-SEC Team, while five student-athletes earned All-SEC recognition on the women’s side
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Eight members of the Alabama track and field program were awarded Indoor Track and Field All-SEC honors, the league office announced Tuesday.
The women's team was represented by Second Team All-SEC honorees Na'Taja Ballard, Doris Lemngole, Hilda Olemomoi, Jami Reed and Brenda Tuwei. On the men's side, Ruben Banks, Victor Kiprop and Chris Robinson earned Second Team All-SEC recognition.
Crimson Tide Men: Second Team All-SEC
- Banks earned second team honors via his silver-medal-winning performance in the weight throw (22.54m | 11.50)
- Kiprop's bronze-medal performance in the 3,000-meter run (7:52.87) awarded him second team honors
- Robinson secured second team honors after clocking a bronze-medal winning 45.62 in the 400-meter dash
Crimson Tide Women: Second Team Al-SEC
- Tuwei earned second team honors after collecting a silver medal in the  5,000-meter run behind a time of 15:53.86
- Ballard, Lemngole, Olemomoi and Reed picked up Second Team All-SEC honors after claiming silver in the women's distance medley relay. Their 11:04.27 performance is now the second-fastest time in UA history.
- Lemngole (silver) and Olemomoi (bronze) each picked up podium finishes in the 3,000-meter run as well
