Alabama Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Recognition

The Crimson Tide women recorded a 3.63 GPA for the fall, while the men’s team saw a combined 3.47 GPA
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both recognized as Scholar All-America Teams, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced.
The Crimson Tide women's team boasted a 3.63 grade point average for the fall, while the men's team recorded a 3.47 GPA to earn the honor.
The academic achievements complemented a competitive fall season that saw UA broke two school records and post five SEC weekly honors. The Tide enters the Southeastern Conference Championships on Monday with 12 marks ranked in the SEC's top five this season, highlighted by an NCAA-leading 200 freestyle swim from Charlie Hawke. Additionally, UA holds 15 NCAA Zone diving cuts.
