Booker Selected as SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week

The weekly league honor is Booker’s third this season and fourth of his career
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama's Tyler Booker was selected as the Southeastern Conference Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league office announced Monday morning.
Booker's accolade following the Iron Bowl marks his third SEC weekly honor of the season and fourth of his career. The junior guard was also tabbed as SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week this season following the Missouri and LSU contests. Monday's recognition also marked the Tide's 11th weekly honor from the league this season.
Offensive Lineman of the Week
- Led an Alabama offensive line that was dominant in the Iron Bowl
- Helped the Crimson Tide accumulate 457 total yards and 28 points in the rivalry game
- Opened holes for 201 rushing yards against an AU defense that was allowing just 110.2 yards per game entering the final weekend of the regular season
- The Tide recorded four rushing touchdowns in the game against the Tigers who were allowing 1.3 rushing scores per game entering the Iron Bowl
- Kept Jalen Milroe upright as Alabama's line allowed just one sack and helped the redshirt junior throw for 256 yards
- Earned a team-high 92 percent grade from the Tide coaching staff
- Produced a team-leading nine knockdown blocks from his left guard post
- Did not allow a sack or pressure on the afternoon
