
Volleyball Falls to LSU in Season Finale Friday in Tuscaloosa

The Crimson Tide honored its six seniors postgame
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball concluded its 2024 season Friday afternoon at Foster Auditorium, falling to LSU in four sets by scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-27 and 17-25.
Following the conclusion of the match, Alabama (11-16, 3-13 SEC) honored its six seniors on the court as part of its senior day ceremony. The Crimson Tide's senior class includes Francesca Bertucci, Chaise Campbell, Kayla Keshock, Malia Moore, Natalie Repetti and Paris Thompson. LSU (15-12, 7-9 SEC) won the opening set, 25-21, before Alabama evened the match with a hard-fought 25-23 win in the second. Set three also came down to the wire, with both teams tied late at 23-23. The Tide held off the Tigers at set point twice before the visitors eventually pushed through with a 27-25 win to take a 2-1 match lead. The momentum carried into set four as the Tigers led the whole way en route to a 25-17 set victory and a 3-1 match win.
