Alabama Football’s Jalen Milroe Named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Semifinalist

The Crimson Tide quarterback is one of 16 semifinalists for the honor
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was selected as a semifinalist for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award on Wednesday, the Tyler Chamber of Commerce and SPORTyler announced Wednesday.
Milroe is one 16 semifinalists for the distinction, which recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell, such as integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community, and tenacity, in addition to the tenacity to persist and the determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals. Finalists for the Campbell-Rose Award will be announced on Dec. 17 with the 2024 winner announced on Jan. 22.
The Crimson Tide has not had a winner of the Rose Award since its creation in 2013.

- Has added 615 rushing yards on 135 attempts
- Responsible for an SEC-leading 32 touchdowns (15 passing, 17 rushing) and 194 points through 11 contests, with both totals being the eighth-highest marks in the nation
- Commands an offense that averages 36.2 points per game, the fourth-highest mark in the SEC and the 17th-best scoring average in the country
