TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball concluded its Fall World Series slate on Saturday, as Team Gray carried its momentum to a 3-0 win in the series finale.
Team Gray's pitching staff allowed just three hits while striking out 11 Crimson batters. Tyler Fay was tasked with the start, allowing just one hit in his 2.0 innings of work. Beau Bryans starred for Team Gray, striking out five as part of his team-high 2.1 innings. Andre Modugno didn't allow a base-runner in his five outs, while Connor Lehman struck out the side in his lone frame. Braylon Myers saw some traffic in the game's final inning, though the right-hander managed a pair of strikeouts to close the win for his dugout.
Brady Neal plated the game's first run with an RBI single, as the catcher finished 1-3. Sean Griggs' two-run single extended Gray's lead and was the lone hitter for Team Gray to close with multiple hits.
For Team Crimson, Kade Snell finished 1-2 with a double, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. Bryce Fowler and Garrett Staton added hits as well. Austin Morris tossed 1.1 innings without allowing a run, while Packy Bradley-Cooney created a pair of strikeouts in his appearance.
The Crimson Tide will close the fall schedule later this week, with Alabama baseball returning to practice to prepare for its Nov. 9 exhibition against Clemson. The Tide and Tigers will meet at 12:00 p.m. CT at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
