Happy Homecoming
We're looking forward to welcoming so many of you back to Tuscaloosa this weekend for Homecoming. There are several events planned throughout the next few days including Friday night's pep rally and bonfire, which will feature a drone show. Saturday, we have the Homecoming parade in the morning, in addition to SEC Nation live from in front of Wade Hall, followed by the football game vs. Missouri at 2:30 p.m. CT. The game is sold out through the Alabama Ticket Office, however fans can search for tickets on SeatGeek.
Soccer Hosts Florida for Final Home Match of 2024
Hard to believe we've reached the end of the soccer regular season already. Join us Thursday night as we close out our home schedule at 7 p.m. CT vs. Florida where we will honor and recognize our five seniors. In addition, children are encouraged to come early and dress in their best costumes as we will have prematch trick-or-treating and a costume parade during halftime.
Limited Number of Tickets Remain for Crimson Kickoff with Coach DeBoer
We've got a handful of tickets remaining for Friday's Crimson Kickoff with Coach DeBoer. Great opportunity to get to meet-and-greet with this year's squad.
Men's Basketball Season Tickets Sold Out
Basketball season is right around the corner, and we're excited to announce that season tickets have officially sold out in Coleman Coliseum for our men's basketball team. No surprise here as there's quite the buzz surrounding this talented team that is ranked No. 2 in the AP poll and recently defeated Wake Forest in exhibition, 98-77. For those who were unable to pick up season tickets, a limited number of single-game tickets will go on sale through the Alabama Ticket Office for select home games on Monday, October 28 at 9 a.m. CT.
Final Exhibition Prep on Deck for Basketball
Both our men's and women's basketball teams will play in their final exhibition contests next week as we gear up for the season-opening doubleheader on Monday, November 4. First, our men's team heads north to Huntsville to face Memphis at Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center for a 7 p.m. CT tip on Monday, October 28. Our women's team will take the court on Wednesday, October 30 in Tuscaloosa, hosting Columbus State in Coleman Coliseum at 6 p.m. CT.
Fall Ball Winds Down for Softball, Picks up for Baseball
Our softball team finished up its home fall exhibition slate last weekend and will play its final game of the season Sunday at Jacksonville State with first pitch set for 2:30 p.m. CT. Baseball heads to Tallahassee for its first fall ball game of 2024 on Saturday for an 11 a.m. CT start against Florida State. The team's lone home exhibition will take place on Saturday, November 9 against Clemson at 11 a.m. CT.
Cross Country Preps for SEC Championships
Fresh off a sweep of the men's and women's titles at the Crimson Classic, our cross country teams are one week away from postseason competition with the 2024 SEC Championships set for Friday, November 1. This year's races will take place in College Station, Texas at the Watts Cross Country Course.
Barrett Jones Named to 2024 SEC Legends Class
Congratulations to former offensive lineman Barrett Jones, who was selected as Alabama's representative in the 2024 Southeastern Conference Legends Class. Barrett will be honored in Atlanta as part of the SEC Football "Weekend of Champions," highlighted by the annual SEC Legends Celebration on Friday, December 6 at the College Football Hall of Fame. The Legends will also be recognized prior to the SEC Football Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, December 7.
Bryant Society Welcomes 2024 Class
The Bryant Society is the pinnacle of the Crimson Tide Foundation's Lifetime Giving Society, which recognizes the lifetime contributions of donors who philanthropically support Alabama Athletics. The first Bryant Society Induction Ceremony in 2015 honored the 16 donors whose lifetime contributions to the Crimson Tide Foundation at that time had reached at least $1 million. Due to the generosity of our loyal supporters, this has become an annual event giving us the opportunity to formally recognize and induct new Bryant Society members during a black-tie ceremony and dinner. This Friday night, we have the privilege of honoring the 2024 class of Bryant Society inductees. In addition to Friday night's festivities, these donors will be recognized in a special presentation at halftime of Saturday's game. Please give them a round of applause on Saturday to thank them for their commitment to Alabama Athletics. We are profoundly thankful for the generosity of our Bryant Society members and the enduring impact they make on our programs.
Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund
As we near the midpoint of the fall semester, our student-athletes have been hard at work pursuing excellence in competition and in the classroom. You can support their educational goals by contributing to the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF). The CTSF provides annual scholarship support for our student-athletes, offsetting the costs of tuition, educational fees, books, and room and board. Donors to the CTSF earn three Tide Totals priority points per $100 donated. To donate, visit crimsontidefoundation.org/ctsf.
University Spotlight
The 31st annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger food drive is underway and will run through November 21. Since its inception in 1994, Alabama and Auburn have combined to raise over 8 million pounds of food for Alabamians. Collection barrels are located both on and off campus and are awaiting your non-perishable donations.
