No. 12/7 Cross Country Set to Host Crimson Classic

The Crimson Tide returns to action Friday morning for its lone home race and final regular-season meet of the 2024 campaign
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 12/7 Alabama men's and women's cross country squads return to the course Friday for their annual home meet, the Crimson Classic.
The No. 12-ranked UA men will start their 8,000-meter race at 8:30 a.m. CT across the Harry Pritchett Running Park. The No. 7-ranked UA women will close the Crimson Classic at 9:20 a.m. with a 6,000-meter race.
Friday's meet marks the Crimson Tide's final regular-season competition before postseason action begins.
Entering the weekend, the UA men are ranked No. 12 in the nation and No. 1 in the South Region, according to the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) rankings. On the women's side, Alabama sits at No. 7 nationally and No. 2 in the South Region.

- Coffee and food trucks will be on site, as well as Krispy Kreme donuts – while supplies last
- World of Beer trailer will serve breakfast
- Red Diamond Coffee truck "Sweet Ride" will serve coffee and tea
- Dogs will not be permitted at the Harry Pritchett Running Park
