Head Coach Kristy Curry Postgame Comments
"Congratulations to her (DeWanna Bonner). Her jersey retirement is well deserved. I thought the Auburn family came out today and really supported her and supported a wonderful environment for women's basketball.
"We fell a little short. I thought we dug ourselves a really big hole, but I thought down the stretch when we took the lead, we missed a three or two, here, there, but credit Auburn, they were able to make enough plays down the stretch. We both are in a situation where we have two wins in Southeastern Conference play, so I think it's really important that we continue to stick together. We have some adversity, but I believe in this team and we're going to continue to grow and stay together."
