Women’s Basketball Travels to Georgia for Thursday Night Contest

The Crimson Tide and Lady Bulldogs will tipoff on SEC Network+ in Athens, Ga.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team will travel to Athens, Ga., for a road contest against Georgia on Thursday night. The Crimson Tide and Lady Bulldogs are set to tipoff at 6 p.m. CT inside Stegeman Coliseum and will air on SEC Network+

- Matt Stewart (play-by-play) and Anne Marie Armstrong (analyst) will be on the call for the television broadcast
- The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Roger Hoover on the call
About Alabama
- Alabama (14-3, 1-1 SEC) will enter Thursday's contest coming off a 79-64 road win against Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
- The Crimson Tide shot 50 percent from the three-point line (15-30) and 72.7 percent from the charity stripe to claim its first Southeastern Conference win of the season

About Georgia
- In the opening week of SEC play, Georgia (10-5, 1-1 SEC) split the first two games - beating Texas A&M, 54-50, in the conference opener and dropping its game at Arkansas, 83-43 on Sunday
- Georgia ranks third in the conference in holding opponents to 34 percent from the field
- The Lady Bulldogs' Javyn Nicholson posts the third most double-doubles in the SEC, while riding a seven-game streak
- Nicholson also leads Georgia in scoring (16.6 ppg) and rebounding (9.8 rpg)
