
Men's Basketball Inks Derrion Reid to Signing Class

The Crimson Tide signs the No.9 player in the country
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Head coach Nate Oats announced the signing of Derrion Reid to the Alabama men's basketball program, who has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career with the Crimson Tide. Reid joins a signing class that includes five-star prospect Aiden Sherrell and four-star prospect Naas Cunningham.

- A five-star prospect, Reid is rated as the No. 9 player in the country and the No. 5 small forward the country by ESPN
- Reid ranks as the fourth-highest rated recruit in program history behind Collin Sexton, Brandon Miller and JD Davison per 247Sports
- Averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game on the Nike EYBL Circuit with Team Thad
- Posted six games with 20 points or more on the EYBL circuit
- Plays with fellow Alabama commit Aiden Sherrell at Prolific Prep in Napa, Calif.
