The junior linebacker led the Tide with 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks last weekend against Ole Miss
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner was selected as the Bednarik Player of the Week, the Maxwell Football Club announced on Tuesday morning.
Bednarik Player of the Week
- Put together a dominant performance against then-No. 15/16 Ole Miss last Saturday
- Finished with five stops, including two sacks (-17 yards) and a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss (-27 yards)
- Helped the Tide defense post a second consecutive game with 5.0 sacks and 10.0 TFLs
- Also pressured the quarterback twice while forcing a key fumble in the top-25 pairing
- Turner's big afternoon propelled him to the top of the SEC's sack list through four games of the 2023 campaign
