The Crimson Tide won a pair of doubles matches and singles matches
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Alabama women's tennis team concluded day two of the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic and collected four victories throughout the day.
Anna Parkhomenko and Priya Nelson won their first doubles match of the season and as a doubles squad while No. 20 Loudmilla Bencheikh and Anne Marie Hiser also recorded a doubles victory. The Crimson Tide saw singles wins from No. 46 Loudmilla Bencheikh and Anna Parkhomenko.
The Competition
- No. 46 Bencheikh defeated 10th-ranked Millie Rajecki of NC State, 7-6, 1-6, 7-6
- Nelson won her first career doubles match with partner Anna Parkhomenko, 8-1
- Parkhomenko collected her 38th career singles match victory with a 6-2, 7-6, 7-3 score over Furman's Grace Thomas
- The 20th-ranked doubles duo of Bencheikh and Hister posted a 8-4 victory over Georgia's Aysegul Mert and Dasha Vidmanova
