Sophomore Outfielder Kinley Pate to Join Alabama Softball

The Northport, Ala., native played her freshman season at Samford
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball has announced the addition of sophomore outfielder Kinley Pate to its 2024 roster, joining the Crimson Tide after spending her freshman season at Samford.
Pate appeared in 36 games as a freshman last year with the Bulldogs, including 17 starts. She scored 13 runs and was second on the team with eight stolen bases in nine attempts. As a senior at Northside High School, she hit .523 with 25 RBIs and 68 stolen bases, earning First Team All-State honors.
Pate is seventh newcomer on the current 2024 Crimson Tide roster, alongside fifth-year transfer Kayla Beaver, sophomore transfers Alea Johnson and Riley Valentine, junior college transfer Kendal Clark and freshmen Jocelyn Briski and Lauren Johnson.
