
24 Alabama Swimmers and Divers Named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans

The Crimson Tide had 16 females and eight males earn recognition for their performance in the classroom and in the pool
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama swimming and diving team had 24 student-athletes earn College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors.
The UA women had 16 honorees, including nine first-team and seven second-team recipients. On the men's side, the Crimson Tide saw four student-athletes earn first-team honors, while four made the second team.
Additionally, both the UA men's and women's programs were recognized as Scholar All-America Teams. The women finished the semester with a 3.66 GPA, while the men's program posted a 3.25 GPA for the semester.
To be named First Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 and participate in their respective national championship. Second-team selections also earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher and met the "B" time standard for the national championship or participated in a diving zone qualification meet.
Crimson Tide 2023 CSCAA Scholar All-Americans
- The Alabama women's team had nine first-team honorees in Kalia Antoniou, Mackenzie Brandt, Jocelyn Fisher, Emily Jones, Kensey McMahon, Diana Petkova, Kailyn Winter, Avery Wiseman and Cat Wright
- Laci Black, Lockett Bowley, Gracie Felner, Ryleigh Rodgers, Courtney Russo, Alexandra Warshaw and Stella Grace Watts earned second team honors
- The men had Cam Auerbach, Victor Johansson, Tim Korstanje and Derek Maas recognized as first-team honorees
- Bernardo Bondra de Almeida, Jake Marcum, Trey Sheils and Eric Stelmar were named to the second team
