
Alabama Women’s Basketball Adds Sydney-Anne Cottrell as Director of Video and Creative Content

Cottrell most recently worked as the director of video scouting and recruiting operations with the Elon women’s basketball program
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball head coach Kristy Curry announced the addition of Sydney-Anne Cottrell as the director of video and creative content on Monday.
Cottrell joins the Tide with over nine years of experience working in the field. Recently, Cottrell served as the director of video scouting and recruiting operations with the Elon women's basketball program.

- 2022-23: Elon director of video scouting and creative content
- Filmed practices and used live coding, in addition to helping with postgame video breakdown and evaluations
- Organized recruiting databases, recruiting travel and recruiting schedules
- 2020-22: Texas A&M
- Served as the graduate manager and assistant video coordinator from 2020-21
- Worked as the video coordinator from 2021-22
- Filmed practices and games and helped with video breakdown
- 2017-18: AAU Coach for Falcons girls basketball
- Created weekly practice plans
- Assisted in weekly player development workouts
- 2015-21: Assisted with basketball camps
- Texas A&M women's basketball camp worker (2021)
- Texas A&M – Corpus Christi men's and women's basketball camp (2018, 2019)
