
Men’s Basketball to Host Clemson in 2023 ACC/SEC Challenge

The Crimson Tide and Tigers will meet for the 12th time overall and second since 2020
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team will host the Clemson Tigers in the 2023 ACC/SEC Challenge, the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday. The game is set for Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Coleman Coliseum.
It will mark the 12th meeting between the Crimson Tide and Tigers in series history and second time in the last four seasons. The programs also met on Dec. 12, 2020 during head coach Nate Oats' first year at Alabama.
FACING THE CHALLENGE
- The two teams have met 11 times previously with Clemson leading the series 7-4
- Alabama is 2-2 against ACC opponents under Nate Oats
- The Crimson Tide suffered a 56-64 loss to the Tigers in the last meeting between the two programs on Dec. 12, 2020
- Clemson holds a 3-0 record when playing Alabama at Coleman Coliseum
