TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 9 seed Alabama will square off with No. 8 seed Kentucky at 4:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 23 in the single-elimination round of the 2023 SEC Baseball Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

The Crimson Tide and Wildcats will be meeting for the fourth time in 2023. Alabama hosted UK at Sewell-Thomas Stadium from March 24-26 with Kentucky earning a 2-1 series win. Game one went into extras, finishing 4-3 in favor of UK before a 9-5 win on Saturday clinched the series for Kentucky. Alabama bounced back with a 4-3 victory on Sunday.
Alabama will be making its 36th appearance in the SEC Tournament and holds a 53-47 (.530) all-time record in the event. The Crimson Tide has faced Kentucky on 12 previous occasions in the SEC's postseason and holds an 8-4 record in those matchups.
