
Alabama’s Gianna Paul to Attend U.S. U-19/U-18 Women’s Youth National Team Training Camp

Paul will participate in the Women’s Youth National Team training camp from April 12-19
CHICAGO – Alabama soccer's Gianna Paul was selected to compete in the U.S. Under-19/Under-18 Women's Youth Training Camp. The camp will run from April 12-19 at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., in addition to portions of the camp taking place at the University of North Carolina and Duke University.

- Earned Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year
- Was named a Second-Team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman Team honoree
- Tied for 10th nationally among freshman for total goals last season, scoring eight goals for the Tide
- Finished the year tied for third on the team in goals
- Added five assists off the bench for 21 points, fourth best on the team
- Netted goals against No. 6 BYU, No. 8 Duke, No. 18 Clemson, Chattanooga, Texas A&M, LSU, Mississippi State and Jackson State
- Named to TopDrawerSoccer's Best XI Freshman first-team
- Earned SEC Freshman of the Week (9/5, 9/26) and TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week (11/29)
