Bama Blitz Returns Tuesday, April 18

The annual day of giving campaign will run from Tuesday, April 18 through Thursday, April 20
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Bama Blitz, The University of Alabama's annual online giving event, returns for a sixth year as it begins at noon CT on Tuesday, April 18 and ends at noon CT Thursday, April 20. All donations made to athletics during that time will benefit the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF), the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics.
Bama Blitz leverages the power of social media and crowdfunding to encourage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to give back and pay it forward in support of their favorite cause, college or program. Alabama Athletics is aiming to raise $53,364 for the CTSF, which represents the cost of one full annual athletics scholarship.
Three hundred donations will unlock a $10,000 challenge gift from Rochelle and Michael Koslin.
" Scholarships create opportunities for the best and brightest athletes to pursue a college degree at The University of Alabama," said the Koslins. "The education and support that UA provides is preparing these students for successful futures. We are happy to contribute to this worthy cause and hope that others will join us."
Donors who give $40 or more to the CTSF during Bama Blitz will receive a home state decal, so they can show their Bama pride where they reside.
