
Alabama Posts 11 Athletes to Swimming and Diving All-SEC Teams

Four members of the men’s program and seven women earned All-SEC honors
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Twelve members of the Alabama swimming and diving program were awarded Swimming and Diving All-SEC honors, the Southeastern Conference office announced Wednesday.
Charlie Hawke earned First Team All-SEC honors as Kaique Alves, Cam Auerbach and Kacper Piotrowski made the Second Team All-SEC list.
On the women's side, Kalia Antoniou, Emily Jones, Kensey McMahon, Rhyan White and Avery Wiseman were named First Team All-SEC honorees, while Diana Petkova and Kailyn Winter gathered second team honors.
Jones also made the SEC All-Freshman Team to round out Alabama's All-SEC honors.
Crimson Tide Men's First Team All-SEC
- Charlie Hawke earned first team honors after winning gold in the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships
- Hawke was name a three-time second team All American for his performance at the NCAA Championships
Crimson Tide Men's Second Team All-SEC
- Kaique Alves was awarded second team honors after his sixth-place finish in the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships. Alves also earned second team All-America status at the NCAA Championships as a member of the 400 freestyle relay
- Cam Auerbach received second team recognition after a 10th-place showing as a member of the 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships
- Kacper Piotrowski earned his second team status after assisting the Crimson Tide in the 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships
Crimson Tide Women's First Team All-SEC
- Kalia Antoniou picked up first team honors after securing both a silver (100 freestyle) and bronze medal (50 freestyle) at the SEC Championships. Antoniou would follow up with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships as a member of the 200 medley relay to notch first-team All-American status
- Emily Jones was also awarded first team honors after joining Antoniou in the 200-medley relay which earned first-team All-America recognition
- Jones was also listed as a member of the SEC All-Freshman team
- Kensey McMahon became a first team honoree after winning gold in the 1650 freestyle at the SEC Championships. The swimmer would follow suit at the NCAA Championships, winning both the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle events to become the first female swimmer in program history to win multiple NCAA titles.
- Rhyan White earned first team honors after her gold-medal winning performance in the 100 backstroke at the SEC Championships, becoming the first swimmer in league history to win four SEC titles in the event
- At the NCAA Championships, White was awarded first-team All-America recognition in the 100 backstroke
- Avery Wiseman earned first team honors after her bronze-medal winning performance in the 100 breaststroke at the SEC Championships. Wiseman became a first-team All-American at the NCAA Championships as a member of the 200 medley relay contingent
Crimson Tide Women's Second Team All-SEC
- Diana Petkova and Kailyn Winter earned second team honors after being named second-team All-Americans as members of the 200 freestyle relay squad that competed at the NCAA Championships
