ATHENS, Ga. – The final round of the 51st annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic was cancelled on Sunday due to inclement weather. The No. 45 Alabama women's golf team finished in 12th overall with a 36-hole total of 599 (294-305).

The Liz Murphey concludes Alabama's regular season. The Crimson Tide will open play in the SEC Championships on April 12 at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham.
Head Coach Mic Potter Comments
"This was not an atypical performance. We had one really good round and one bad one every tournament this season it seems like. We have shown signs of being a team that can compete for tournament titles. We haven't been able to put that together consistently and really just sabotage ourselves. Now it's the postseason and we have a couple of weeks before SEC Championships, so we are going to get back and continue to work really hard so that we are ready to go."
