Alabama Hosts Mississippi Valley State on New Year’s Eve

The Crimson Tide will conclude non-conference play on Sunday in Coleman Coliseum
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team will host Mississippi Valley State Sunday for the final non-conference game of the 2023-24 season inside Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide and the Devilettes are set to tipoff at 2 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.

About Mississippi Valley State
- Mississippi Valley State (1-11) will enter Sunday's contest coming off a 99-35 loss to Mississippi State on Friday
- Alabama will be MVSU's sixth SEC opponent during the 2023-24 season, including Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, South Carolina and LSU
- The Devilettes defeated McNeese State, 85-82, on Nov. 16 to earn the first win of the year
- Sh'Diamond McKnight leads MVSU in points (14.2 ppg), rebounds (4.3 rpg), assists (3.3 apg) and steals (2.8 spg)
- Amberly Brown tops the Devilettes with 17 blocks (1.4 bpg)
