Thirty-Four Student-Athletes Earn Degrees at Winter Commencement
Congratulations to our 34 student-athletes who received diplomas last weekend as part of The University of Alabama's winter commencement. The list of graduates includes members of two national championship football teams, four All-Americans and student-athletes that have won Southeastern Conference titles in soccer, softball and cross country.
Holiday Hoops
Three opportunities to catch our men's and women's basketball teams in action before we ring in the New Year, beginning with the men's game against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 3 p.m. CT. They will then head up to Birmingham for the C.M. Newton Classic at Legacy Arena to face Liberty on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. CT. The women continue their homestand on Sunday, Dec. 31, closing out the non-conference schedule with a game against Mississippi Valley State at 2 p.m. CT.
2024 Football Schedule Released
Recently, our 2024 football schedule was announced in its entirety, which includes seven home games and five on the road. Never too early to mark those calendars!
Year-End Giving to the Crimson Tide Foundation
Have you finalized your year-end giving plans? The Crimson Tide Foundation (CTF) staff is here to assist you with year-end giving or answer any questions about making a contribution in support of Alabama Athletics. While The University of Alabama will close for Winter Break at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, the CTF will be open on Wednesday, December 27 and Friday, December 29 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. CT.
You can reach them by phone at 205-348-9727 or email at ctf@ia.ua.edu. You can also find complete year-end giving deadlines and instructions on the CTF website. Remember, you have several options for making your gift including check, credit card or stock transfer.
Contributions in honor of your favorite Bama fan make a great gift! If you would like to honor a loved one or friend through philanthropic support of the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund or the fund of your choosing, please include a note on your check or send an email to the Crimson Tide Foundation when making an online contribution to ensure proper recognition.
