
Alabama Battles in Four-Set Loss Sunday at LSU

The Crimson Tide hosts Arkansas and Florida next weekend in Tuscaloosa
BATON ROUGE, La. – Alabama volleyball took the opening set in Sunday's matchup at LSU, but the Tigers rallied to win the next three sets and take the match over the Crimson Tide, 3-1.
Alabama (10-14, 0-13 SEC) scored the first two points of set one and led the rest of the way over LSU (10-12, 5-7 SEC), winning the frame 25-18. The Tigers evened the match with a win in set two by the same score, riding a 10-0 run in the middle of the set to the 25-18 win. The Crimson Tide overcame an early 9-2 deficit in set three to tie it back up at 9-9 but LSU quickly surged back ahead to win the third, 25-16, and take a 2-1 match lead. Alabama held an early 3-2 lead in the fourth after a kill from Chaise Campbell before LSU retook the lead. The Tide drew as close as three points down the stretch but could not force a fifth set as the Tigers won, 25-16, to clinch the match.

- With seven kills today, Kendyl Reaugh improves her career total to 961 kills
- Callie Kiffer finished with 29 assists and 12 digs, earning her seventh double-double of the season and her fourth in SEC play
