Milroe, Proctor Earn SEC Weekly Football Honors

Milroe was named on offense while Proctor was a freshman honoree
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor each earned Southeastern Conference weekly honors, the league office announced Monday morning. Milroe was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week while Proctor was selected as the Co-Freshman of the Week.
The weekly conference honor is the third for Milroe and first for Proctor while they represent and the Tide's 11th and 12th overall this season.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
- Accumulated 366 total yards in the Iron Bowl
- Rushed 18 times for a team-high 107 yards
- Completed 16-of-24 passes for 259 yards and two scores through the air
- Sealed the Crimson Tide win with a touchdown pass on 4th-and-goal from the 31-yard line
Co-Freshman of the Week
- Did not allow a sack or a quarterback hit in his start against the Tigers
- Recorded two total knockdown blocks from his left tackle post
- Helped Alabama control the line of scrimmage as the offense put up 451 total yards, including 192 on the ground
