Saturday Night in Bryant-Denny
What an incredible atmosphere we had last weekend as we came back to beat Tennessee. I told our staff after the game that nights like this are what make college sports so special and so much fun to be a part of. Looking forward to being back in Bryant-Denny next weekend as we host LSU under the lights with a 6:45 p.m. CT kick. While tickets are no longer available through the Alabama Ticket Office, they can be purchased through our official ticket marketplace on SeatGeek.
Luisa Blanco Earns Olympic Berth
Congratulations to Luisa Blanco for punching her ticket to the Paris Olympics as part of the Colombian gymnastics team! In her Pan American Games debut, she finished as the highest scoring eligible athlete in the all-around with a combined 50.099. What an incredible accomplishment!
Cross Country Looks to Defend SEC Titles
Race day is nearly upon us as our men's and women's cross country teams look to defend their SEC titles from a season ago. This year's championships will be run Friday at the Charwood Golf Club in Columbia, S.C. with the men's race beginning at 9:08 a.m. CT followed by the women's race at 9:50 a.m. CT.
Volleyball Hosts a Pair in Tuscaloosa this Weekend
Two chances to catch our volleyball team in action at home this weekend as we host Mississippi State on Friday at 6 p.m. CT and Auburn on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT. Wear pink to Friday's match as we support our Power of Pink initiative and bring the kids on Sunday for the Big Al's Kids Club Halloween Party. There will be pre-match trick-or-treating, autographs and more. Free admission for kids 12-and-under.
Rowing Concludes Fall Season with Head of the Black Warrior River
Join our rowing team for its home regatta on Saturday morning as we host the Head of the Black Warrior with races set to begin at 9 a.m. As the team's Power of Pink event, our marketing crew will be handing out pins and shakers. Additionally, we will have donuts, a pumpkin decoration station, yard games and more!
Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Deck for Women's Tennis
It's time for our annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic, welcoming women's tennis teams from all over the country. Matches will be played throughout the day on Friday and Saturday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
Men's Tennis Sweeps ITA Southern Region
Our men's tennis team had a successful run in Auburn at the ITA Southern Regional Championships, sweeping both the singles and doubles titles! Enzo Aguiard was crowned the singles champion for the second consecutive year and Filip Planinsek and Andrii Zimnokh captured the Tide's second doubles title in a three-year span.
Soccer Closes out Regular Season at Missouri
Soccer will play its final match of the regular season on Thursday, taking on the Missouri Tigers in Columbia. The match is set for a 5:30 p.m. CT start on the SEC Network. Also, a huge thank you to our incredible fans for helping set our regular-season attendance record on Sunday, bringing our total to 8,745.
Baseball to take on Florida State in Fall Exhibition Saturday
On the schedule for Saturday afternoon is baseball's second fall exhibition, where we will take on Florida State. First pitch is set for noon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium and admission is free. Please note that concessions will not be open and alcohol is not permitted for the fall exhibition game, however fans are allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages in.
Fall Coming to a Close for Golf Teams
Both our men's and women's golf teams are wrapping up the fall portion of their seasons this weekend with the men at the Steelwood Collegiate in Loxley, Alabama and the women at Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
Basketball Season Right Around the Corner
The countdown is on as we near the start of basketball season in Tuscaloosa. Following exhibitions, our men's and women's teams open up with a doubleheader on Monday, November 6 at Coleman Coliseum. Season tickets are on sale now, so get yours today if you haven't already.
Swimming and Diving Heads to Tallahassee for Next Meet
After sweeps over Delta State and Missouri at home, our swimming and diving teams will hit the road next week to take on Florida State and LSU in Tallahassee. The meet is set to begin at 9 a.m. CT and run throughout the day.
Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund
As we near the midpoint of the fall semester, our student-athletes have been hard at work pursuing excellence in competition and in the classroom. You can support their educational goals by contributing to the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF). The CTSF provides annual scholarship support for our student-athletes, offsetting the costs of tuition, educational fees, books, and room and board. Donors to the CTSF earn three Tide Totals priority points per $100 donated. Donate today.
University Spotlight
The Where Legends are Made campaign continues this year with some wonderful stories of students, including Emily Henderson, who coupled her coursework with experience in athletics to land a spot with the New York Giants.
