
Fan Day Highlights Week Two of Spring Practice for Baseball

Saturday’s Fan Day will feature a Youth Clinic among other things for children in attendance
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball returns to the diamond for week two of spring practice starting on Monday. The Crimson Tide will host four practice-scrimmage splits along with one day of practice during the new week.
The new week will start on Monday at 1:30 p.m. CT with a 3 p.m. first pitch in the intrasquad. Following a short break in the midweek, the Tide will practice at 2 p.m. on Thursday before three consecutive practice-scrimmage splits over the weekend. Friday's schedule begins at 1 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. scrimmage. Saturday will feature a 12:30 p.m. start to practice followed by a 2 p.m. intrasquad, with Sunday slated for an 11 a.m. workout and 12:30 p.m. first pitch.
Also on Saturday, the Crimson Tide will host a Fan Day at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The day-long event will begin at 10 a.m. with a Youth Clinic open to children aged 8-14 (non-high school aged). The hour-long session is free to the first 100 kids to register online through https://www.alabamabaseballcamps.com/.
Following the Youth Clinic, head coach Brad Bohannon will introduce the 2023 Crimson Tide roster. An autograph session and facility tour open to all attendees will also be a part of the 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. window. Additionally, an inflatable bounce house and slide, a face painter, Big Al and food trucks will be on-site for Fan Day.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team's regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball's on-field activity is free to the public. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.
