
2023 Season Officially Near as Baseball Begins Spring Practice Friday

The Crimson Tide will practice for three weeks leading up to the season opener on Feb. 17
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball's spring practice schedule will officially start on Friday afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide will spend three weeks practicing before the 2023 season opener on Feb. 17.
Friday's full-team practice will begin at 1 p.m. CT with an intrasquad scrimmage to follow, first pitch set for 2:30 p.m. The Tide will then take part in two more practice-scrimmage splits to close out the weekend with each day kicking off at 11 a.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. start to the intrasquad.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team's regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball's on-field activity is free to the public. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.

Saturday: Practice – 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Scrimmage – 12:30 p.m. start
Sunday: Practice – 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Scrimmage – 12:30 p.m. start
