No. 5 Alabama Soccer’s Knox Captures National Honors

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the second-consecutive week, No. 5 Alabama soccer's Felicia Knox received a trio of national weekly honors. Knox was named to Soccer America's 3 Stars of the Week, College Soccer News' Team of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer's National Team of the Week.

Knox leads the NCAA with 11 assists, recording one assist against Tennessee and two against Texas A&M to pace the Crimson Tide to a pair of Southeastern Conference wins last week
Her 11 assists broke the school record for assists in a season, passing 10 from Merel van Dongen in 2014
In addition to tallying two assists, Knox also scored the game-winning goal against the Aggies
She recorded five points over the weekend, off of an assist against Tennessee and a goal and two assists against Texas A&M

The Team

Held the nation's fifth-ranked scoring offense to two goals as Tennessee entered the match averaging 3.38 goals per game
Outpaced the Lady Vols 29-9 in shots and tallied a 13-4 advantage in shots on goal
The victory over Texas A&M was the sixth in a row for the Crimson Tide
The team is on a 13-game home winning streak, dating back to a 2-0 win against UAB on Sept. 12, 2021
The Tide shut out its seventh-consecutive team at home, with the last opposing team goal in the Alabama Soccer Stadium coming from a 2-1 overtime win against Kentucky last season (Oct. 21)
