The junior was dominant in the Tide’s 55-3 win over Vandy last Saturday
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama linebacker Will Anderson Jr. was selected as the Southeastern Conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. The conference honor is the sixth of his career and the Crimson Tide's third this season.
Defensive Player of the Week
- Spent the night in the backfield, helping to limit Vandy to just three points and 129 yards of total offense
- Recorded a team-high 3.0 tackles for loss (-17 yards) and 2.5 sacks (-16 yards)
- Finished with five total tackles across his 24 snaps on defense
