With the victory, the Crimson Tide has tied its program record for consecutive home wins with 10
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 18 Alabama soccer team (6-1-1) recorded a dominant 3-0 victory over North Alabama (3-2-3) Sunday. The Crimson Tide saw goals from Riley Mattingly Parker, Gessica Skorka and Reyna Reyes, respectively, in the victory.
From Head Coach Wes Hart
"I was pleased with our performance tonight. Even though we dominated possession and territory, North Alabama did a great job of crowding the box and not giving us wide-open looks. Once again, Riley Parker scored a huge goal for us and it was great to see Gessica rewarded with a goal. She's done such an incredible job of providing attack out of the back. For the third game in a row, Reyna Reyes scored a goal. We are scoring goals in a variety of ways. I was very happy to get the shutout tonight, and a lot of players were able to contribute on both sides of the ball. I feel we are in a very good place heading into SEC play."
