KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Alabama's Reyna Reyes was named to the United Soccer Coaches 2022 NCAA Division I Players to Watch – Defenders list, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Reyes is coming off an exciting junior campaign in which she earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team honors and First Team All-SEC honors. With Reyes on the backline, UA also held Clemson scoreless through 90 minutes as the team clinched its first-ever NCAA Tournament win.
Reyes was named to TopDrawSoccer's Team of the Week following her defensive performance in the team's win against Clemson and was named both the Southeastern Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week for her effort against LSU and Auburn, respectively.
