Alabama Men’s Basketball to Open Practice for Fans Saturday Morning

The Crimson Tide’s 2022-23 squad will be on display for the first time to the general publi
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball coach Nate Oats will open the Coleman Coliseum doors for fans to watch an open practice Saturday morning. The doors to the Coliseum will open at 9:30 a.m. CT with practice beginning at approximately at 10 a.m. CT.
The 2022-23 edition of the Crimson Tide will be on display of the first time to the general public that day as the team will conduct an intrasquad scrimmage.
The Tide is in the midst of making preparations for its 10-day Foreign Tour trip to Barcelona, Spain, and Paris, France. The Crimson Tide will play one game and spend four days in Barcelona before traveling to Paris for another four days and two more contests.
Per NCAA rules regarding a foreign tour, Alabama will hold 10 days of practices prior to departing Tuscaloosa. The Tide's trip will begin on Aug. 5 when it departs Tuscaloosa for Atlanta. The Tide will arrive in Barcelona at 8:55 a.m. local time the morning of Saturday, Aug. 6.
