Alabama’s Darcy Jennings Named Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year for Rowing

Jennings was one of a league-leading 40 Academic All-Big 12 honorees for the Crimson Tide
IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced its 2022 Spring Scholar-Athletes of the Year on Thursday, with Alabama's Darcy Jennings as one of three co-honorees for the sport of rowing.
Jennings competed with the Crimson Tide's First Varsity 8+, taking bronze at the Big 12 Championships to help Alabama to a second-place team finish for the third straight season. In the classroom, Jennings earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering in the spring of 2021 and is currently pursuing a MA in Sport Administration. She is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree (2020-22) and was one of a league-leading 40 honorees this season for the Crimson Tide.
