
Alabama Soccer Announces Summer Camps

The program offers six opportunities over the summer for campers to grow their skill set with three ID Camps, a Day Camp, a Goalkeeping Academy and a Goal Scoring Academy
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama soccer will host six summer camps, including three ID camps, one day camp and a combined goalkeeping and goal scoring academy for the 2022 year.
The Roll Tide Soccer Academy (RTSA) is designed to develop a player's skill set in a fun and engaging environment. Players will receive individual attention from an elite coaching staff comprised of high-level college and club coaches, including the Crimson Tide coaching staff.

Summer ID Camp – Females Entering 9th Grade and Above
Dates: June 11-12 | July 16-17 | July 23-24
Cost: $259
RTSA ID Camps are designed to prepare female prospect-age players for the college soccer experience while also providing exposure to The University of Alabama coaching staff and other college coaches. On-field instruction, small-sided games and 11v11 matches combined with discussions about the recruiting process and the college experience provide an all-encompassing view into the life of a college soccer student athlete. The University of Alabama Soccer Stadium, Hank Crisp Indoor Field and UA Campus Recreation Services provide world class facilities for soccer training and competition. UA coaching staff and players will be accompanied by other college coaches and players to provide a professional soccer environment and a transparent look into the world of college soccer.
Day Camp – Boys and Girls Entering Grades K-9th
Date: July 11-14
Cost: Half Day $195 | Full Day $390
The RTSA Day Camp is a high energy, fun, educational environment for girls and boys of all ability levels. Campers will be exposed to technical and tactical lessons within exercises, fun activities and competitive small-sided games. The Alabama Soccer Stadium and University of Alabama Campus Recreational Division provide world class facilities for soccer training and other fun activities. UA coaching staff and players will be accompanied by other high-level coaches and players to provide the most rewarding Day Camp experience.
Goalkeeping Academy – Females Entering 7th Grade and Above
Date: June 13-14
Cost: $289
UA coaching staff and players will be accompanied by other college coaches and players to provide a professional soccer environment and a transparent look into the world of college soccer. Goalkeepers will be taught the techniques, positioning and decision-making processes. Keepers will be prompted to read the game and use their voice to organize and command their team. Goalkeeper camp activities and games will be used to apply all of the above while also creating a competitive and supportive environment amongst those in attendance. At times, goalkeepers will integrate with field players for activities at goal and other competitions.
Goal Scoring Academy – Females Entering 7th Grade and Above
Date: June 13-14
Cost: $289
UA coaching staff and players will be accompanied by other college coaches and players to provide a professional soccer environment and a transparent look into the world of college soccer. The Bama Goal Scoring Academy is designed to provide detailed information in a professional training environment for players to learn the how, when and where of creating and finishing goal scoring opportunities. Finishing activities and games at goal with varying levels of pressure and opposition will be utilized as the primary vehicle to teach lessons in goal scoring tactics, technique and mentality.
