
Alabama-Auburn Series Finale Canceled

The Crimson Tide and Tigers were in the bottom of the fifth with one out before weather forced the cancelation
AUBURN, Ala. – The Alabama-Auburn baseball game on Sunday was canceled due to weather.
The game was delayed by 20 minutes before first pitch was thrown at 3:20 p.m. CT. The teams were in the bottom of the fifth tied at 1-1 when a lightning delay began. Auburn had the bases loaded with one down and a 2-2 count on the batter before the game went into a weather delay. The delays continued to pile up until 6:25 p.m. when the game was officially called. All stats from Sunday's game will not be counted.
Alabama returns to the field on Thursday, May 19, when the Crimson Tide hosts Arkansas at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. First pitch of the series opener is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+.
