FORT MYERS, Fla. – Alabama swimming and diving All-American Kensey McMahon earned a top-10 finish in the 10,000 meter open water race at the 2022 United States Opener Water Championships Friday morning at Lynn Hall Beach Park in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

The Crimson Tide distance ace earned All-America honors in the 500 and 1,650 freestyle in 2022 and medaled in both events at the Southeastern Conference Championships.
