The Crimson Tide will play the winner of No. 11 Vanderbilt and No. 14 Georgia Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team will begin defense of last year's Southeastern Conference Tournament title Thursday night, as the Crimson Tide earned the No. 6 seed in the 2022 SEC Tournament. UA will face the winner of No. 11 Vanderbilt and No. 14 Georgia immediately following the No. 7 Texas A&M-No. 10 South Carolina contest that tips off at 5 p.m. CT.

This year's SEC Tournament will be held Wednesday through Sunday, March 9-13 in Tampa, Fla., inside Amalie Arena.
