The Crimson Tide captured the doubles point and saw three singles courts go into a third set

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama women's tennis team fell, 4-1, in a Sunday afternoon match against Arkansas at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. With the loss, the Crimson Tide moves to 13-6 on the year and 3-4 in Southeastern Conference play, while Arkansas advances to 12-5 overall and 5-2 in conference action.

Alabama won the doubles point to start the match with a 1-0 advantage
Anna Parkhomenko and Petra Sedlackova opened with a 6-3 victory on court two against Lenka Stara and Laura Rijkers
Loudmilla Bencheikh and Anna Marie Hiser followed with a 7-5 upset win over 53rd-ranked Tatum Rice and Morgan Cross on court one to clinch the first point
