Kate Henderson netted three of the Crimson Tide's five goals in its 5-0 win against the Owls
KENNESAW, Ga. -Â A hat trick from sophomore midfielder Kate Henderson highlighted a 5-0 win by the Alabama soccer team on Sunday as the Crimson Tide faced Kennesaw State in its first road contest this spring.Â
Allie Berk was the first to find the back of the net, securing the game-winning goal off a cross from Riley Tanner. Henderson followed with her first goal of the day, before Tanna Sanchez-Carreto gave UA a 3-0 advantage. Felicia Knox and Reyna Reyes recorded assists on the Tide's second and third goals, respectively. Henderson would net two more shots to conclude the day with a hat trick and lead Alabama in the 5-0 win. Tanner would find Henderson on the team's fourth goal as Sanchez-Carreto secured the fifth assist on the final goal of the day.Â
The Crimson Tide continues its road stretch, traveling to Nashville, Tenn., to face Vanderbilt on Saturday, April 9. The game is set to kick off at 1 p.m. CT.Â
