
Alabama Signees Selected to Participate in Postseason All-Star Events

Jaden Bradley and Brandon Miller earn the nod to the Jordan Brand Classic, Rylan Griffen to compete in High School Slam Dunk Championship
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama signees Jaden Bradley, Brandon Miller and Rylan Griffen have all been selected to participate in postseason all-star events. Bradley and Miller, who were both named to the McDonald's All-American Boys Game, were each selected to the Jordan Brand Classic, while Griffen earned an invite to compete in the Applebee's High School Slam Dunk Championship.
The Jordan Brand Classic invites the best high school seniors from across the nation to compete in Chicago, Ill., in a celebration of the next generation of basketball stars. The event is in its 21st year overall and is returning for the first time since 2019. Bradley was named to the Away team while Miller will be on the other side of the court competing with the Home team. The event will tip off at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, April 15 at Chicago's Hope Academy.
Alabama fans will also be able to see both Bradley and Miller in the McDonald's All-American Game, which will be played March 29 in Chicago's Wintrust Arena. The contest will be televised on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT.
The 2022 High School Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships feature 12 of the nation's premier high school athletes. Griffen was one of four players across the country who will compete in Applebee's Slam Dunk Championship, which will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at De La Salle High School in New Orleans. The event will be aired via tape delay on CBS at noon CT on Sunday, April 3.

- 2021 McDonald's All-American and a consensus five-star prospect
- Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 small forward and No. 11 overall player nationally in the 2022 class
- 2021 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year and the No. 1-ranked prospect in the state
- Averaged 24.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.6 blocks and 2.3 steals in his senior season for Cane Ridge
- Father, Darrell Miller, played tight end for the Crimson Tide under Gene Stallings in the early 90s
- Chose Alabama over Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn, Tennessee State and playing professionally
Rylan Griffen | G | 6-5 | 180 | Richardson, Texas (Richardson HS)
- Helped lead Richardson HS to the nation's top-ranking among public school teams and No. 2 overall among ESPN's national high school basketball rankings in 2022
- Averaged 20.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals on his way to earning District 7-6A Offensive MVP honors during his senior season
- Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 shooting guard and No. 49 overall player in the 2022 class
- Rated the No. 61 player in the nation in the ESPN100
- Chose Alabama over Arizona State, Georgia, Kansas State, North Carolina State and Oklahoma, among others
