Schedule of Events Announced for The Integration of Alabama Football: A Celebration of John Mitchell and Wilbur Jackson and A-Day Spring Game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Several events have been scheduled as part of The Integration of Alabama Football: A Celebration of John Mitchell and Wilbur Jackson, which will take place on The University of Alabama campus in conjunction with the Golden Flake A-Day Game on Saturday, April 16.
In addition to a full slate of activities on Friday, Mitchell and Jackson will be recognized at Saturday's TIDE PRIDE luncheon before making their way to Bryant-Denny Stadium for a plaque unveiling ceremony at 12:30 p.m. The duo will also be honored on the field at halftime of the football game.
Commemorative posters featuring Mitchell and Jackson will be available throughout the perimeter of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Saturday, April 16
12 p.m. – Bryant-Denny Stadium Gates Open
12 p.m. – Walk of Fame Ceremony at Denny Chimes
12:30 p.m. – John Mitchell and Wilbur Jackson Commemorative Plaque Unveiling (Outside Gate 1 – Bryant-Denny Stadium)
12:50 p.m. – Walk of Champions
2 p.m. – A-Day Kickoff
Halftime – On-field Recognition of John Mitchell and Wilbur Jackson
