
Alabama Spends First Full Day in San Diego, Continues Preparation for NCAA Tournament Opener

The Crimson Tide spent Wednesday practicing, continuing work towards the second round contest between either Notre Dame or Rutgers Friday afternoon
SAN DIEGO – The Alabama men's basketball team spent its first full day in 'America's Finest City' Wednesday as it continued preparations for the NCAA Tournament opener vs. Notre Dame/Rutgers. The sixth-seeded Crimson Tide will play the winner of Wednesday's First Four contest between the 11th-seed Fighting Irish or Scarlet Knights on Friday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. CT (1:15 p.m. PT).
As Alabama continues making preparations for Friday's showdown, the team practiced for two hours Wednesday afternoon at a local school. The team also did film study, video scouting and team meetings ahead of its tournament opener

Prior to the team's practice, each student-athlete was gifted with a brand new pair of game sneakers (Paul George 5's).
