Jenny Mainz recorded her 300th win as the head coach of the Crimson Tide with the victory
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama women's tennis team moved to 7-0 on the season Sunday, defeating TCU 4-0 at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility. The win marked the 300th victory at Alabama for head coach Jenny Mainz. The Horned Frogs dropped to 6-2 with the loss.
From Head Coach Jenny Mainz
"We took a step forward as a team today. We knew it was going to be a battle on every court and the girls were ready to compete. We did a great job in doubles playing aggressively and getting out to a good start. Our goal was to get our teeth into all six courts in singles with good intensity. I'm proud of the work and intensity that we had from start to finish today. It was a total team effort.
"We had a solid weekend overall with a good win over Houston on Friday and a solid finish with TCU today. Both matches were battles and great tests for Bama."
