
McLaughlin Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

The junior earned his undergraduate degree with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced.
The junior will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late December. Alabama's most recent Academic All-Americans were Mac Jones and Landon Dickerson in 2020, with Jones eventually being named the All-American of the Year for football and across all sports.

Seth McLaughlin, Offensive Lineman
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude in the summer of 2022 with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in finance
- Began the 2022 campaign as an SEC Graduate and is currently working towards his master's degree
- Earned 548 snaps across his 10 games of action in 2022, including seven starts
- Has served as the Tide's starting center for the second half of the season
- Blocks for the nation's No. 5 scoring offense (40.8 ppg) and No. 15 total offense (475.5 ypg) entering the bowl season
